Information for Debtors

If we have taken legal action against you for recovery of money due to one of our clients, we would encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your account and to see how matters may be resolved.  It may be possible to come to an arrangement by which the account is discharged by instalments.  The sooner you contact us the better. 

We may have sent you a Statement of Means form for completion.  If you did not complete it or it was mislaid you can download one here.  It will give Croskerrys and our client information about your financial position which we may not currently have.

Croskerrys provides a service in line with all of the strict legal obligations required by its regulatory body, The Incorporated Law Society.

Please do not engage the services of a debt or money management company to deal with the matter on your behalf as these companies are not subject to regulation and will charge fees which may be substantial and could reduce your capacity to deal with outstanding commitments.  Under no circumstances should you make payment or part payment of outstanding debt to such companies as they are not authorised to provide payment services.
